E-Learning

• Janet Salmons, Ph.D., is on the faculty of the Capella University School of Business, where she develops courses and teaches leadership, management and e-business classes in the MBA and PhD programs. Janet is a frequent presenter for international online conferences that provide professional development for educators from K-12, college and university and continuing education settings.
• Together with the Vision2Lead team, Janet develops curricula, courses and faculty development tutorials.
• Vision2Lead consults with Kaplan University Department of Education, where we design and develop curricula and a new faculty development program.
• Vision2Lead consults with Laureate, Inc. and Walden University on course development.
• Vision2Lead served as consultant to the Lynn University Institute for Distance Learning, where we develop standards and review procedures for current online classes, a course design process for new classes, offer coaching for faculty in course development and instruction, consult on the design of a new online MBA program and develop courses.

E-Community

• Janet serves on the editorial board for Opening Stages, an electronic publication of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. dedicated to helping professional performing artists with disabilities pursue their careers. She occasionally writes reviews and articles for the publication. • Janet moderated discussion forums and events about Virtual Community at www.techsoup.org from 2000-2005.
• Vision2Lead provided an evaluation and consultation to the Northern Tier High Technology Corridor, a virtual community bringing businesses, educators and nonprofits together in Northern Minnesota.
• Vision2Lead consulted on concept and plans for Grrlstories.org an educational site about and for young women, their teachers and families.
