Journaling World Watercolor Month
Yay! It’s World Watercolor Month!
Every July the energetic Charlie O’Shields invites expert and amateur watercolor artists to paint in response to daily prompts. The goal of World Watercolor Month is to create 31 paintings in 31 days.
When people post their work on social media, or directly into the Doodlewash site community (my preference) they appear in a collective newsfeed. You can see how others responded, and make comments. The result is an interactive global community art fair!
Enjoy the digital edition of my World Watercolor Month art journal! I am participating for the second time. This year I am creating a World Watercolor Month art journal. In addition, I am working on a summer travel art journal, but more on that in another post!
It is free to participate, but any funds generated through donations or sales of very cool merchandise go to the Dreaming Zebra Foundation to provide art opportunities and supplies to kids.
Interested in journaling? Registration opens soon for workshops in Boulder, Colorado. See summer offerings!
